\nBeginning to Intermediate levels. \u00a0We cover traditional and contemporary Caribbean and popular musical styles, rhythms and techniques, improvising, and have great fun together!
\nMeditation Drumming\u00a0<\/strong>– Private Lessons & Group Play Shops. Ground, center and uplift yourself while de-stressing with tranquil rhythms.\u00a0 Using drumming as a Life Practice to\u00a0reinforce your personal Flow State.
\nThird\u00a0Friday Community Drumming Sessions: 7 to 8:30 pm<\/strong>– $10. I conduct Community Drumming Sessions on the third Friday evening of every month\u00a0at the Congregational Church of Soquel, 4951 Soquel Dr., Soquel, CA 95073, in Soquel Village. Doors open at 6:30, so come check out the instruments and meet each other. All ages, and all levels of experience are most welcome!\u00a0 I provide a variety of hand drums and percussion instruments, and bring your own favorites.\u00a0 I demonstrate fundamental techniques on the instruments, and show you fun and easy rhythmic patterns that intertwine to create the Group Groove.\u00a0 The theme is Playful Empowerment.\u00a0 Come play with us!<\/span>

I’ve traveled the world on my rhythm journey, and I’ve been fortunate to have played with wonderful musicians from many rich\u00a0cultures. \u00a0In the last 40 years, I’ve also\u00a0performed in a variety of musical groups and situations, including playing worldwide for 20 years with one of America’s premier corporate events bands, at festivals with a number of headlining groups,\u00a0and in concerts and clubs\u00a0with touring bands of all types. \u00a0With these groups, I’ve\u00a0become proficient in a \u200bwide\u00a0range of musical styles, including:<\/span><\/p>\n
